The sun rises over a mountain peak, a dark silhouette against the golden light, and beams of sunlight turn the sky golden, striking out across the land and touching all within their reach with pure light. Gently awakening creation to a new dawn, peaceful and loving.  To me, this is the essence of Reiki.
